Description
This was just a basic drawing I used to experiment different ways to tone down the color. Since I spent some time on it, I decided to post it.Naraku's side is paired down, and there is not much interesting character to stand Inuyasha's way. So of course RT's gonna enlist Sesshoumaru-sama for his star power to liven up things...
I mean, it is an interesting shift, I admit...
But the reason I'm not excited is because I am aware of the cruel law of unfair RT universe...
That is, "anything that fight against Inuyasha, loses".
and if you can't beat him, you got to join him...
I just hope RT won't kill him, or take away his Tenseiga to fuse it with Tetsusaiga to complete Inu's final attack or something.
I know those are far fetched ideas, but I'm thinking worst case scenarios to prevent heartattack in advance.

So true! InuYasha just HAS to beat anything that opposes him! So sad, since Sesshoumaru really does best him at nearly everything. I'd jump off a roof if anything like that happened, too!! RT needs to do SOMETHING: a new person maybe, Naraku's so frustrating! XD InuYasha NEEDS to get BEATEN.

Yeah, me too. I think Inu's not that great of a character. It seems like, as a main character, he's too overrated, beats everyone down and stuff.

No, I don't think Inuyasha will take away Sesshoumaru's sword away.. he has too much honour for that and plus.. I believe he knows he cannot handle that type of power. But It will I think take the cooperation of both brothers to definitely rid the world of Naraku permentantly.
I wish for Tons more fight scenes with Sesshoumaru though.. I love the hair!! RT better start giving him more page time...

I've always thought Sesshoumaru was hard to color.
He gets too many colors around his face with his markings, eyes, and clothes, making him kind of gaudy in full color...
That's one of reasons i don't like anime version. (though in movie4 they subdued the color enough, which was good)
With this approach, he could still look classy and colors won't take over the image too much.

I have read things set in modern time but it just wont do anything for me
I like taking full advantage of the limitations of his character, but not a big fan of replacing elements with something else. (or adding too much elements)

i agree. my interest in modern fic is limited (though a good one is a good one). somehow putting sessyin modern context does loosen him up for me though. makes it a bit easier to see him as something other than a cold hearted prick.

I don't see her killing him off after everything he's been through. Naraku's going to be going after Kohaku's shard, which means that Kagome and InuYasha are going to have to go after him, too. They're probably going to end up fighting Naraku together whether they want to, or not.

no no. i don't agree. i think surely, finally sesshomaru-sama will get some closure. AND WITHOUT getting killed by inuyasha. he could have started fighting right then and there but... no sesshomaru-sama has grown a heart. his pride is mortally wounded but i think if he realises that he was not disowned by his father, it'd be okay. the chapter isn't finished yet! we odn't know what meiyoga is gonna say yet!

thanks. I'm guessing it looks softer probablly because I rely on hand-drawn lines. They are more delicate and have more nuances, better for getting subtler expressions.
