Haha i hope you do ^^ Btw talking about Sony. I got myself a Ps3 the other week. With Red dead redemption and Finalfantasy 13. I must say that Red dead was awsome, but FF13 on the other hand was a MAJOR letdown. The story and all are great and the characters are internsting and soo on. But the gameplay itself is more or less a continuous loop running from point A to point B in narrow corridors...sigh...

Any game is better...than FF13. I fucking hate FF13. My friends liked it, though. I considered it to be too easy and the story had no sense whatsoever.
When I begin game design, I hope to make a game 10 times better than that one! The Sony line of game consoles are wonderful, but the games they throw have such a disadvantage with stories adjusted to gameplay. Some of the games I have seen on that console, like GOD3 or FF13, have an impact because of their graphics and some of the gameplay, not necessarily because of their stories. I'm not saying Sony games suck, because if you see games like Gran Turismo or Little Big Planet, there are other games that are better. Just those two, GOD3 and FF13.
Nintendo games are simple, easy to understand, short, games. That is why Nintendo wins anytime.
I'm still deciding where to go when I get to publish my game. I wanted to work with Sony, but I'm not really convinced because I don't know if Nintendo has better publishing opportunities or If Microsoft's 360 presents itself with a huge amount of fame. Eh, I'm pressing my luck!

Well, the plastic shader is a combination of two different Blinn material, i used a layered texture to make the combination of the two materials "Blinns", first of all i used a base color which i connected a 4k bump map including the text into it. i think i used the second blinn to create a rich amount of specularity which i connected to the bump map, to give a correct specularity
i used a ramp also to give a bit of falloff to the color. I used a 3 point lightning, one of the lamps have a little blue in it to make the plastic look pop out a bit more... hope it made sense, i'm bad at explaining stuff ^_^
PS. i used Autodesk Maya for this.
