This is a commission I completed for ShadowedLullaby , of their character "Cameo"
This drawing was fun to do, I have a small fixation on long dresses and ruffles and lace etc... but this character also being one that embodies such themes as depression, sadness, grief, etc- I really had to reign in my also-prominent sparkle fetish. XD I had to add some in there though. It's not art by foogie if there are no sparkles on it. >__>

Drawn with pencil/paper, lineart redone and colored using Painttool SAI, finishing touches done using Photoshop CS2, all using Wacom Intuos4 Tablet.

This picture reminded me of a situation when I went to the homecoming school party, I was dressing like this with the same hair style and I cried because my date dumbed with another girl -_-....
What I meant, is that her face shows lots of emotions, great how you pulled that out

I must say that the design is eye-catching. Everything you said about your fixation in the details are very evident in how the outfit looks. You really managed to do an impressive job with all of the details, giving the character something a very fitting look that not only works for the moment, but compliments her figure very well (great work on the folds and shading around her legs).
I'm typically not a fan on images that clearly imply a sad theme, but I couldn't help but like the execution here. Hopefully, Cameo will find the strength and peace to overcome whatever she is mourning about, but in any case, I'm giving you kudos for what you've put together. Very nicely done.
