Oh Jesus, finally! XD I'm finally done with this one, thank God! This simple looking little picture literally took me about a month. DX Overall, I really love the way this came out, and I think it's one of my best pics yet. However, I'm so tired of looking at it, and I eventually just gave up and rushed to finish it. So there are probably a few errors, but I'm done with this pic. DX I'm not going to go back and fix them.

Anyway, I'm not going to say too much about the pic, because it would give away spoilers. =3 But I'll give a little bit of info to help you understand the pic. His name is Raiden, first of all. Now, you're probably wondering who the hell this guy is and why you've never seen/heard of him before. XD And that's because he's a new character that I designed for an original series of mine. But shhh, more on that later. >>;;;; So yes, before you all screech and whine like disappointed Narutards, I'll go ahead and say it. No, he's NOT a Naruto OC. -_- But please don't let that affect your opinion on this piece. D8 ^_^ And yes, I am planning on drawing an Itachi x Kohana pic soon, for all you fans of that pairing, I promise. ^_^

So, right, moving on. XD Anyway, his name is Raiden, and this picture was largely inspired by the song Born of A Broken Man, by Rage Against the Machine. =3 [link] A little bit of background info here. Raiden's extremely self-sufficient, and he trusts absolutely NO ONE. He's a real prick, actually, but he's had an odd past, so I think this song fits him really well. X3 Well, really, he is broken, but shhh, don't tell him that. XD >>;; In the picture, I was originally going to have someone else offering a hand to help him up, but that didn't quite work out...so, now....he's just kinda glaring at someone about to come up and offer their hand. XD Eh, I can't really say much more, because it would turn into spoilers

Now, about the actually picture. I loved the lineart, and I really love the fire in the background, and the gradient. The coloring, however, I'm not sure about. It's the best I've ever done, but since I'm in the middle of trying to find a new coloring style, everything is a little off to me. XD So I'd really love to hear your opinions on everything, it would help out quite a lot. =3

So, what do you think of Raiden, eh? XD Isn't he smexy? 8D *shot* Think of this as kind of a teaser/preview pic for my upcoming futuristic original series, which I'll be formally introducing soon. By the way, it stars, Kohana and Freya, along with a few new characters, and also Eclipse as a lesser main character. Right, anyway, please do tell me what you think of the picture, and as always, if you have any questions, feel free to ask, and I'll try to answer you soon. And I apologize for the long-ass artist comments. If you actually read all this, I applaud you. XD
