Even though people are saying HHD not a "legit" Animal Crossing game, I'm still going to buy it seeing I am a big fan of the AC series as well as I think it looks pretty interesting. o w o
(I just don't favor the idea of buying the cards--- to me it feels a bit like DLC. I just hope it's optional. = w =''')

Yea the game is more of a spin-off than a main game, and I find it pretty interesting, too!
I just hope they take some of the things from this game, like the new house designing mechanics
and putting furniture outside and keep it in the new game.
The cards are completely optional. You can use them to get specific villagers
to show up and get characters to show up in a house and such.
I kinda wish Nintendo never mad Amiibo honestly D:

Nintendo's legit holding us off with this game until the next ACTUAL Animal Crossing release. I say it might be a good seller, but with the additional cards... don't you have to purchase those separately?? Disappointing in my opinion, almost like amiibos. XD

I'm curious, Adam. What are your thoughts on Happy Home Designer? I'm personally looking forward to it simply because it's Animal Crossing, but it surprised me a bit that it's a full retail game and not a free download since it seems to rely on the amiibo cards, from what I've seen, anyway.

Honestly I didn't have too much interest when I first saw it, and yea, I thought it would be some sort of mini spin off game to occupy Animal Crossing fans till a new one comes out. Seeing it in it's own package and everything threw me off when I saw it o_O I mean other than designing homes, what else can you do? Is it really big enough of a game to have a retail release? It's strange...

Who knows, maybe it actually has a lot more meat to it than we've been shown. We haven't gotten a whole lot of information on it other than bits of gameplay and the cards.
By the way, have you seen the K.K. Slider costume for the Mii Gunner coming to Smash in Japan, yet? I want it so badly!
