Caden Journey is the teenage son of Professor Arthur Journey, and possibly one of the most hyper kids alive. Impulsive, enthusiastic, and eager to prove himself, it's little wonder that Caden attached himself to Alex Tanaka when the latter began to work with his father. Even though Alex generally finds him annoying rather than helpful, Caden's drastically different perspective and magical abilities have proven themselves to be more than worth the cost of spending time with him. Luckily for Alex, Caden spends most of his time on a farm in southern Minnesota, learning how to run the entire farm on magic alone.
