yo yo. . .this is a new one i did based off an idea of a new scarlet spider story. . .these are my versions of the chars from that story. . . .scarlet and black cat are owned by marvel tho. . .so dont sue me. . .its fan art

heh yeh i did a newer one, im still thinkin about it if id ever actually do a mini comic about it or not.. in the version i had started writing it wasnt ben rielly any more it was a teen who was a fan of scarlet when he was a kid. i think i had it that he had been a student coincidentally of peters from when he was a science teacher for a short while.. which might give you an idea of how long ago i wrote it heh.

well, i also had an idea on how to do a Scarlet Revival, it includes a man seeking power (copying spider-mans in almost perfectly legal means) and when he gets the power and tries to become the hero he wants to be, he gets a crash course in the responsibility aspect of it. otherwise, no non-sense type of spider. a few quirks, etc. but the basic story ends as the completion of a long more involved hero origin. like 4, maybe 5 books if you wanted to split it like that.

The Scarlet Spider is the coolest of all the spiderman costumes except for Spider-Man Unlimited, that one had stealth. This is an AWESOME piece man! way cool!

The way you drew Scarlet Spidey makes him look younger, (big eyes, smaller head, skinny.) Which I was thinking about, and I wouldn't mind if they brought a younger kid into the fray as the Scarlet Spider. He could team up with the younger group of heroes coming out, (Gravity, Young Avengers, etc.) They brought him back in the alternate universe with Spider-girl, and it worked really well. Maybe he could be a young clone of Ben, or somehow related, or something more original than those ideas.
Anyhoo great work, I love your redesign, you streamlined the original costume, which it needed.

Not bad although Scarlet Spider seems a little too slim, he looks more like Peter from Ultimate Marvel, the slim body makes him look like he's a teenager. Unless that's the idea for this. You know I actually liked him, I wish Marvel hadn't killed him off.
