What an interesting image! Love her facial expression- it is what drew me to the photograph in the first place- and the muted colors you have used. Once in the image, I find I am reluctant to leave as I explore her watermelon tinged face and screwed up nose. It is still making me smile as I write these comments! Her hair, which looked as though it started the day neatly, has taken life into it's own hands and despite the butterfly clip to keep it in place, it has become wind swept and untidy. Oh how well it works in this image! The use of the person behind her works almost like a frame. The dripping watermelon in her hand makes my mouth water, it looks so juicy and sweet. I think you have captured childhood wonderfully here. Well done
