I've been watching K-On! as well, I even went out and looked for the manga. Too bad they still haven't released it here, so I have to settle for the online versions.
My fried tells me that Mio is actually more popular than Yui. Sometimes side characters can be more popular than the main character, though I wonder if Mio counts as a side character.....

Yep you're right...people (we)...Don't consider Mio a side character...XD...She's the man...I mean she did form the club...She came up with Lyrics for the vocals...She did the Vocals herself And she leads everything in the Club so...
