This summer Tarte had the distinct pleasure of accompanying a friend to Otakon! On Friday she was Natasha Stark, the canon genderbent Tony Stark from Earth-3490 of the Marvel Multiverse.Tarte: This was actually a cosplay that wasn't supposed to happen until later in the year, but I got ambitious over the summer during my internship and tried my darnedest to get a repulsor gauntlet working! After a couple mishaps (did you know you have to be over 21 in order to buy spray paint in NYC? I sure didn't. Also, LEDs WHY) she finally got everything together right on time for Otakon! I'm pleased with how it turned out during my short time there, but I'm definitely going to be remaking aspects of this cosplay.
(I'd like to add that this costume is never, ever going to be retired.)
