in the universe takanuva visited refered to as the Dark Mirror alot of things had changed, primarily the toa/dark hunter war on metru nui had never occured because nidhiki had sided with tuyet and killed lihkan, securing the nui stone, an object of unequaled power, for herself. the toa mangai naho of that universe wasn't killed because, with tuyets ultimate power, the makuta wasn't able to put his plans into motion. naho was sent to kill the shadowed one but instead helped him to escape, a betrayal that got her mutated into a monster and placed in the archives.
