The past few days here in the UK have been very frosty and foggy, resulting in hundreds of beautiful frozen cobwebs! I took a few pics but frustratingly they didn't come out as sharp as I would have liked.

Winter's Enchantment...
Jack Frost breathes his gentle breath
Across forest and moor,
Into lake and pond,
He spreads his cloak of brilliance
Over this naked, barren land,
Creating a winter wonderland,
Enchanting a sleeping countryside,
Waking it from its yearly slumber,
With a beauty that echoes the colours of spring,
A freshness that rivals the fragrances of summer,
A magic that stirs a moment of life,
Into this snow-white serenity.
Poem by me, written years ago, tweaked slightly today.

just got a nice one for my on the road stuff. asda £119.99 instead of & £156.
I never really get the chance too use my Nikon while at work, so this is now going everywhere with me instead.

The ironic thing is...I see all these webs but rarely see the spiders that go with them. Um...but that can only be a good thing!

To be honest, I haven't...at least not to this extent. I hate winter so all the cobwebs and other frozen things were a nice little surprise!
