First principle of portraiture and design:  light side, dark frame; dark side, light frame.  
Given the lighting, it's unlikely that the highlight would show on the nose and lips where they've been put.  Then, again, it's unlikely that the light intensity on the right side would be on the front planes of the forehead and cheek.  This was a study from imagination, I'm guessing.  

The color is nice. The features are pretty. I like the tilt of the head.

I think maybe you were self-conscious about messing her up, so passed over opportunities to explore her forms.  Beauty or character . . . the eternal quandary.  LOL. XD.
