I love the water's texture.
The b&w is great.
This photo reminds me of life, sometimes is harder to balance a boat where are two persons (you've got two wills, two different ways of thinking, different opinions, opposite decisions..) but it's always easier to row against the tide when you're not alone.

this is great. The movement of the lake is what I like the most. And the gloomy darkness surrounding the boat. Maybe somewhere new isn't always better than somewhere old. But yes, I would like to be taken somewhere new too, preferably for free and with lots of banana cheesecake. I still can't believe that your little camera can actually do this. I must say, photoshop often comes in so handy.

Thank you, except for the border and an 8+ contrast, all photoshop did was resize it to a smaller image.. i found an iso and contrast setting on it, still need a new one ya.. ; )

I really like the contrast. The detail of the water really complements that nicely. I think it would be really cool if the boat were actually a little more off to one side and less in the center. But I really do like it. Well done!

I like very much the scale of the picture, particularly how it doesn't make the subject too small, like many pictures of little boats tend to do. Also the contrast is beautiful. I can't really imagine how it be in colour.
