Aussies are often naturally bobbed, as are other breeds like Corgis. Just because some members of the breed are born with tails does not mean that the tailless gene does not exist. There are many and varied genes among dogs, such as hairless, some with six toes, long tails, short tails, different ear lengths

Personality: Lance is -like most Aussies- very high energy, and very agile. He very much enjoys going in the kennel runs with the other Aussies, and also with Dunkin, the Lakotha Shepherd at SHK. He can be very dominant towards other males, and he tries to be the first and best in everything, even if it is as simple as getting his food first or getting pet before the other dogs. His highly competitive nature would make him a stellar agility and disc dog.
Plan of use: His disciplines would be agility and disc. All dogs of SHK have to go through Obedience titles. We have expert handlers in that field who work directly with high energy dogs who tend to maintain difficulty with focus for Obedience. He would be well taken care of!

Personality: Reserved, Camira is the one to hang back at a gathering of dogs. The Australian shepherd is shy when encountering others, and submission is the only instinctual behavior coming from her. Once warming up to her companions, the kind female will be an excellent friend and companion, sticking by the sides of her friends. Anxious, there is lots that frighten her. She is skittish, though calmer in the presence of those she trusts.
