I read ^adrifts' note on this topic and I wholeheartedly agree. I've tried hard to help people (giving them massive proofreading feedback and editing suggestions) but some people either don't care, or have no idea that anything needs fixing. Like any addiction though, people who "just write" need to realize that the first step in putting out good work is to figure out they have a problem (in this case not a cocaine addiction, just a misuse of commas, periods, capitals, semi colons, etc, etc) If you can conjure up some way to get writers to proofread their pieces before submitting them you should be very proud of yourself, and your fantastic magical brain-control powers.

Agreed, well written.
And that is the problem, really. People just don't check over their own work. If they did, they'd probably catch over half of their mistakes on their own.

Using it in my journal because ^adrift told us to... and because it's an awesome stamp!

I like it, I like it it's good. I support this idea whole heartedly - I set out to read other peoples prose and often get so fed up with the lack of effort put into simple things like spelling and grammar that I simply give up.
Can we link to this directly, or what's the accepted method of posting stamps as I've not done that before.

Right embed it like this:
[img src="https://ic3.deviantart.com/fs12/i/2006/266/3/e/I_Support_Good_Literature_by_ForksOfTheS alad.png"]
But replace the [ and ] with < and >.
Doesn't seem to work in comments, but it works on my journal.

Ah well.

There might be a 'right way' that I'm missing, but that works.

There's a lot of crap in the Literature gallery.. unfinished / unrefined / unpolished prose.. not fun.
