I wanted to get this finished 2 Saturdays ago, on 11/25--the day these women were murdered in 1960 opposing a brutal dictatorship in the Dominican Republic. Subsequently, that day has become "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women." I wasn't feeling too well physically or mentally, so I failed to get it done in time.

I wanted to put "To Dedé" the surviving sister that did all she could to preserve her sisters' memory and accomplishments, but she actually died in 2014, so she has already reunited with her sisters.
