Powerful set of witnessing. Loving this.

Suggestion - and only that - in the 4:00 flowers, it may have more impact if you take away the word "sadly" and leave it at droop.

I can't wait to see what you will add to the collection.

This is a great start to the wrimo and a piece that speaks very much to me personally since I can remember doing exactly that myself, even though that was in the beginning of summer, rather than the end.

Well, you can have camp fires all summer, in theory. In reality it's prohibited here because of the draught.
I think, August camp fires have a touch of nostagia and saddness to them though. The feeling of time passing and watching the embers make people philosophical.

this is a lovely summery image - I like the idea of friends gathered to watch the fire burn down to its last embers, as if the fire itself symbolises the close of summer
