Hello, i noticed your work at

I like the colors of your aquarell.
The whole landscape reminds me of England, Scotland but also of Scandinavia. I would like to know where this place is…

And I want to know what is at the end of the way ... a lake or a river or maybe even a piece of sea. Very interesting. A few lighter gradients would have been missing for myself - in the water area if it is water… but I think it should be water because of the reflection of the trees.
The monochrome style fits very well, but I would prefer Sepia. The blue / turquoise seems to me a little overcooled and fits more to the winter ... This looks more like a fresh spring picture or an autumn landscape. Maybe you just like the colors or have chosen the colors for a special reason. Turquoise is supposed to be the coldest color ever maybe you’re feeling cold while drawing ;-p

Maybe you can add some more shading to the stones with some pen or with some pencils with a bit of grey. But finally, I have to say that my favorite parts of the pictures are the trees and the stonewall. Strong dark trees and “glowing” stones

Aww, thank you for taking the time to comment!

Well, the author of the original photo is from Sweden, therefore I assume that the photo was taken there! But it also reminds me of the UK

I guess the blue just fitted my mood and everything around it. It makes you think much more than any other color, I'm not feeling cold, do not worry about that
Yeah I guess I should pay more attention to the stones more, I'll focus on that more next time when painting stones.

Hope you are having a nice day!

Hello, i am from the

First let’s begin with the very first thing I noticed about this art, and that is the fact that is entirely blue, yes you can argue that there is a certain tonality that also can give a weak green aspect, but it is mostly blue, the element this remind of the most has to be water, not only because of the scenario but because to tone of the blue you choose do remind me of the somewhat greenish blue of the sea, the scenery itself seen to be a lake with a very small wall of rocks build next to it, I like the effects you put on these rocks, with the light coming right in the middle and the surroundings in most of these rocks being darker, the black trees can give a more mysterious aspect since one is very next to the lake, this one being devoid of leafs, the trees that have leafs are distant from the water, but their reflection can still be seen, it is all very calm and relaxed. Being honest my only problem here is the sky, these clouds look a little weird having lines darker than they should, but at the same time this could be just the technique you use for drawing, I mostly do digital so I can’t really say how you could do different on a method I don’t really use that much, again this is my only problem with a otherwise perfect picture.

Also I noticed that you made another drawing in this style but with red instead of blue, I think I should give a look.

Aww! Thank you very much for taking the time to comment! I really appreciate it! And I'm really happy that you like my work.
It was my intention to paint in just one color - the torquise one. You are right, the clouds do look oddly, but it is natural property of watercolors to look like that.
And aww, thank you! Hope you are having a nice day!

I loved the medium you used. It has a haunting quality, in a good way. It kind of reminds me of that change between seasons, when it's cold and dark. It's a great mood piece.

This is really nice piece that you painted because the colors, which are perfect in everyway, that you used and the place you painted is so calming. Whenever I look at these nature pictures I feel a big calm come over myself which pushes the worry and fear out of my soul. I myself am a big huge nature lover and this what seems to be a snowy landscape seems to hint at a Black Metal band whom would probably love playing their music there. Heck even I would not mind going there for a walk myself!

The only things that get to me are the smoothness of everything in the picture. Like the rocks….I would have made them a bit more darker and rough looking but keep them in the same color family. As for the sky I would have made it either really light or really dark so that it contrasts the land and water below it but still keep it in the same color family.

Thank you! I'm really happy that you got the calming melancholic feeling.
If a black metal band would play theur music there, I would probably love to watch it! And you are right, it must be a beautiful place for a walk.
Thanks for your suggestion, I'm planning to work on more monochromatic studies in the future, I'll keep that in mind!
Have a nice day ^^

Yeah, that is easy for me to do.
And I'd tag along with you! XD
Nature always is is not it? So much better to walk in than a noisy neighborhood.
You are welcome! I can't wait to see them!
You too!
