He combines all the dodginess of high-ranking religious figures during the dark ages and politicians throughout all time. About as hard to pin down as a greased up bar of soap in a tub of baby oil. ... well...that's some bizarre imagery. I need to stop writing these when I am low on sleep.

Excellent work on the robes, yeah. And you do get that, "I'm going to grab the power of this place if it KILLS me" sense from this... I love the expression!

This is one of my favorite incarnations of Voles. His sinister appearance and obvious lust for power makes me happy.

Very cool style here, and it really compliments the existence of the character on a professional level and draws good attention. For some reason though, it almost reminds me of Ky's garbs from Guilty Gear. Just below the waist, if only slightly.

Hmm... Ky is the one in the white, right? With the electric sword thing? Apparantly Sol's Rival? (I've honestly only ever seen the game in Japan...so I have no idea about the storyline)

But, now that you mention it, I can definitely see a resemblance in the outfit.

Yes...Voles is the head of the ecclesiastical council. so thats part of an order...sort of. Right?

Definitely. So far, Voles has only appeared in one story. He's been edited out of 2, and I haven't posted any of the others. with him in it (they are on the cutting room floor as it were)
