Description
Aqualung is a high flying wizard of musical explanation in the Jethro Tull group. The song is about an old guy without a house.When the music is slow and emotional, the guy is being deplored ; and when the music is hard we see the shit that he does and his stupid character and his sexual dreams and it makes us hate the guy. So with the music we can explain the goods and the bads of a person.
The reason the they call the houseless guy aqualung is the the guy has a asma and that he makes the sound of and oxygen tube when he breathes.

Wow, this is intense. The anguish on the man's face is so painfully apparent. I also like your explanation of what Aqualung is about--I'd never looked at it that way, with the slow parts expressing sympathy for him and the other parts expressing how depraved he is. Now I'll have to listen to it again.
