if you're wondering the string-like choker on his neck, it's his necklace actually. he hides it underneath his uniform shirt.
treat and touch the necklace with respect, it is his house key and a small symbol from Gwynalier family. If you damage it in any way or badmouth / vilify it, he would be extremely offended as he sees it as an insult of his family. you'll be on his permanent blacklist and he will hunt you down!

I don't really know that brown and yellow can be matched up with pink. I can say that yellow shades normally are not my choice for my OC's color scheme, but I like how they turned out here!
and he has reasons to wear hairclips. Basically it's because his bangs are long enough to cover his eyes. He might wear them all or just some, though.

Very nice. Your use of pencil strokes works very well with the texture of each piece of clothing. I'm interested in what sort of pencils you used to color this. Also how you made the gold details look so shiny.
The wings are done nicely too. They look like a mixture of butterfly and dragonfly wings. The mixture is a unique touch considering most often it is one or the other not both mixed together.
Although I must say the color of his hair and wings brings him a bit past bishie and into girlie but if that is what you intended then there is nothing wrong with it.
The necklace being his house key is definitely interesting. I imagine some mystical fantasy house to fit that sort of key and want to know how it works.
All in all this is a great piece of art that makes me want to know more about your characters and the world they live in.

I use mechanical pencil HB, so the truth is that the original drawing is black and white. then I color it digitally, so I use brush and use contrast colors to make the gold looked so shiny. (I doubt I can do this with colored pencils otl)
lol he was intended to have more feminine features! xD I choose pink for his hair as I never had a male character with such color, and he has some eyelashes too. if you read his bio you will know how househusband-material he is.
ah yes, his house has some sort of a magical barrier as most of his little siblings are still young, and he tends to be protective of them
