Description
I'm a doughnut and forgot to post this piece that I did quite some ago for a great client, JonsAngels of a character in his story named Alexis, a vampire and somewhat of a sister and mentor to the main protagonist, Elizabeth. The design was creatively given to me for the character and she had no illustration depictions previously and Jon had said I use her appearance based on myself so I did! Her outfit was designed by me as well as her proportions are based on myself. I gave her red hair with technically blue eyes like my own (in this image I had done a gold glow instead for fun in her vampiric form even though it's not cannon for the story. This version is an alternate version I did is with a cloak idea I had. The castle was based on several different historical castles based on even different cultures. She is located in the land of Ravencrest, a snowy and ominous city. Anyways hope you all like it, feedback and comments are always welcome!
Here's an excerpt about Alexis:
"Behind her charming and cordial demeanor, Alexis was once a formidable and fearless outlaw. Along the road to Ivanmire, she and her cohorts would routinely raid the constant stream of caravans. Although it was a lucrative and productive business, it was not without its share of peril; however not all of the peril came in the form of the local law enforcement and the occasional resisting victim. On a particular night, she and her fellow thieves came across a wrecked and abandoned wagon, a seemingly easy windfall. Upon approaching the wagon, they were unexpectedly attacked by a powerful vampire. Resulting in the deaths of several of her friends, the battle was ruthless and intense; however, as the sun rose, the vampire, now wounded, eventually retreated. Among the sudden silence, Alexis heard the cries of a frightened child. Cautious, she slowly investigated the wreckage, where she discovered a young girl. Against the wishes of her comrades, who thought that child could wander into the safety of the nearby city, Alexis took the child and essentially adopted them. For the next thirteen years, Alexis taught her new sister, Elizabeth, everything that she knew. Although she has now "retired" from her life of crime, she still maintains some contact with Elizabeth and her former friends. Interestingly, the recent arrival of Elizabeth, along with an item of questionable origin, may force her out of her retirement."
