I really wanted to do something bright and fun and so I did a beautiful piece of Powergirl that was penciled by the great Phil Moy. I really enjoyed doing something. I realized the last time I did Powergirl, was oh my gosh, ages ago. Had to of been years. I really like the idea of Powergirl busting through some wall saving civilians and cats alike, as well as give off that 'superhero' lighting vibe. Anyways, feedback and comments are always welcome!

I think that was the name of Supergirls super cat, Powergirls non powered ( but often aggressive with anyone other than PG ) cat has had various names, including Kitty, Mr Cat and I suspect as a nod to Streaky, Stinky

It's a beautiful pic and it's kinda funny with the expression on the cat's face. PG is a great character and her sometimes cocky attitude is a nice bonus. Love the pose and expression on PG's face here with the debris falling down around her. I like how her hair kinda waves around like this. You did a wonderful job with the colors and soft painting feel it has. Love the soft tones and smooth transition of color blends.

Thank you. Admist the idea that Powergirl is all about her bustiness, I actually really like her character. She's my Supergirl all grown up, and the fact that she turns out the way she does in drive and determination, is awesome to me. I wanted to give her more of a soft look with those harsh settings and I'm glad you really like it.

To be completely fair, that is where half her weight really is. And I'm sure when Gerry Conway created her with huge breasts and a massive cut out and a cinched waist, he was definitely intending her to be that way.
