Description HOLY CRAPOLA ANOTHER ATTEMPT AT A PARTIAL BACKGROUND?! I really did some experimenting with this one. Never really done rain before and had to look up multiple tutorials but wound up putting my own spin on it and taking tips from others. Tried another shading technique, which I liked a lot. You'd be proud of me, I didn't use the burn tool AT ALL - WOW AMAZING.

"Flaaaaire!" The female called out over the loud pitter-patter of the pouring rain. She had been searching for her little brother Flaire for hours. Way past the time she expected him to return to the village. It was unusual for him to be late and Lyliku was growing more and more concerned. Not only was he too young to be out this late, but the people of the nearby town usually went on the offensive if they saw an Iberian at night.

Padding out of the forest, Lyliku found herself extremely far away from her home village - or farther than she'd allow her brother to travel anyway. A faint scent drifted up to her and she immediately sprinted toward a nearby cave. 'He has to be in there!' She hoped silently her herself, desperate to make sure no harm had come to him. As she approached the cave, it became apparent that he could have taken shelter in there from the rain. Unfortunately for her and her large size, the opening was incredibly small, possibly made my a badger or fox. Lyliku took no time digging through soil to make the hole big enough to crawl through. The cave was a maze with many different paths but she had no trouble tracking Flaire's scent. As she expected, there he was sitting in the middle of a smaller den, his head hung low. Being that the den was roofless and the sky freely rained in, she assumed that he must have fallen.

"My goodness pup, I've been looking for you all day!" She said, standing in the opening of the den. He said nothing and continued looking at the wet floor beneath him. "Flaire," she said after taking a deep breath, "You're going to get sick sitting in the rain like this. How long have you been here? And why did you wander so far from home? You know better--" Lyliku approached the smaller wolf and crouched down to get on his level. She poked her muzzle at his cheek but he promptly averted his gaze. Taking a closer look at him she saw that he was unusually dirty, with small patches of fur missing all over. Flaire was always a talkative one, so whenever he made the effort to avoid conversation, it usually meant that he'd had a rough day dealing with the village bullies.

"Tell me everything." Lyliku's expression softened as she folded her haunches and sat down beside the troubled pup.

Credit to for the stock texture. She's got a lot of really good stuff in her gallery so please check her out! This is the first time I used a stock texture and I must say that I'm pleased with the outcome. Veeeerry fun.

Characters Lyliku and Flaire/Iber. werewolf species/Art belongs to me. Do not blah blah blah, you know the deal.

New watermark, nice, or maybe I'm just blind and don't log onto here much. Personally like the effect of the rain hitting the wolves. Thumbs up
