um, I hope I can remember it correctly. I used black faux leather and stuffed it with very thick felt.
The gold part was some kind of cord I stiched onto the black section afterwards.

That does help, but I'm most stuck on the the gold part around the buttons. Did you sew a button hole? Or is there another way to go about it?

No, i did not aew button holes, they weren´t necessary. I just used the gold cord to fake them .
