I just feel so much freedom when I look at this picture. I've always loved wildflowers; even as a young girl I would pick wildflowers (some of which my mother proclaimed to be "just weeds") and bring them inside the house. I would put them in a little glass vase on my window ledge. They died pretty quickly because I lived in the attic room and so my window was covered by the top of a couple big trees, so flowers never got sunlight sitting there. But still, I always have loved flowers I see growing on the side of the road or the edge of a field. They remind me that I belong to only myself; I can grow where I want.
