I loved it there, every road seems to lead to a waterfall
They have a bunch of historic info on boards etc, but they kinda focus on businesses and buildings, not so much on what daily life would have been like in it's heyday...

It's a small world lol.
It's probably one of the hidden gems of the Otways - as to its history
I know our family farm was covered by a large dam back in the day
and a lot of the old times/knowledge of them has been put aside for those
businesses you speak of (which is fair enough).
As to coincidences - I worked at a business where I met the grandson of the
woman who delivered my Grandpa (I kid you not). He just started talking randomly
about Forrest etc and remembered her telling him about a large family (he was 13th
of 14) who she was midwife to over the years (and that would be the 1890s).
