Description Most awesome fruit when you get them ripe. Good luck finding them at a supermarket. Heck, with a flock of Rosellas living in a palm tree nearby, good luck getting them off the tree!

These three figs are attached (or, were attached, if the birds have gotten to them since) the giant fig tree in my grandparent's backyard. That tree is older than me, so in my terms, it has been there forever.

This shot captures a particular perspective of standing under the tree on a sunny day. Think of it as capturing my mind's eye of a memory of the tree.

From the looks of it, it was shot with the 105mm macro (exif will confirm) but I don't think it was 1:1. Oh, and were is the category for FRUIT!? HMMM?

This image brought back some fond memories. I grew up with a fig tree in the backyard. In the course of a year we'd get maybe a dozen figs... The rest went to the birds!

I really like fresh figs picked from the tree.
Nice composition with the 3 figs split by the stems like this. I like the way you placed it slightly off center in the frame too.

Is this a segue into how figs are the something or other of the ocean? I knew I should have put a mature content filter on this
