Not that good of a picture T^TFinally, I made these babies
They are a little over an inch long from cloud hat to footsies ^^
Plain black thread was used for the legs. They've been dipped in gloss so the legs are stiffish so they aren't swinging around bothering you.
After I had baked these, I somehow lost them
So, me and ~S-Mau spent about 2 hours looking everywhere looking for them! >< Finally, ~WildSketcher found them in my platinum guide book that I use for my references... Eheheh These certain pair are for me. But, if anyone is interested, I'm willing to make some to sell ;3
No paint used, only multiple colors of SculpeyIII clay.

Hand-crafted jewlery is always very interesting to see, especially what medium the artist chose to use. Working with clay, I know personally how difficult it can be to get certain parts just right. Considering the miniscule size, the shapes and details are very well articulated, and bonus points for the final product being so cute!
Another thing, such a small scale works well with jewlery, especially earrings. I have seen some artists who do great work, but will turn pieces into jewlery that end up being too big and clunky, or too heavy. These appear to be just the right size. Applying glaze to the dangly parts is very conventional as well; parts like that can easily break or fall off if they aren't reinforced, and using the same glaze as was used on the clay part is a creative way to ensure the stability of the dangly parts.
As far as similarities go, there are only small discrepancies between the two. Sharp precision tools are good for getting even more accurate shaping and details (although I know that this piece isn't particularly detailed, ehe) and for the black thread, if you wanted to avoid having any of it show through the lighter parts of clay, you could use a lighter thread, perhaps the same color as the clay, and then paint it the color you want where it will be exposed. (just a suggestion, I know this can be time-consuming and hasslesome)

Yes, they are a perfect size. I was afraid at first that I would make them too small, as I have a bad habit of doing that... Luckily for me, Sculpey is light enough that it doesn't hurt even if it were to be bigger.
At first, I didn't want to glaze the thread, because I thought it would turn out weird. But, then after realizing I really didn't want to paint it on, I just dipped it in the gloss and it turned out to my advantage. Making me seem smart in the process. Ehehehe... o'.'o
When I make earrings, I tend to make each limb or attachment in pairs as to try keeping them the same size. Some things can't be helped though, I can try!
Yeah, the black showing through the hearts is one thing that does bother me about them >< I don't want to use white thread though since Drifloon's leg things are black, maybe I should try painting them!
