I noticed you have fingernails >.> (I know, random, and you're probably sitting there like wtf?) does that make it harder or easier for you to sculpt? I only ask because I've tried sculpting before and found it difficult to do so with nails (I used to bite them, then stopped, then started again...)
On another note, this is a great tutorial! You're very descriptive and have nice pictures to help someone recreate the roses.

Actually, when I have shorter nails, the harder it is for me to sculpt something. I use my nails for cutting the clay and such. I suppose I've just gotten used to having them!
