BeihaiThe lake district in Beijing ( Beihai Park )
In the 15th century, the large lake in the middle of Beijing was divided two parts. Today the area around the northern lake ‘Beihai Park’ is one of the most popular and beautiful places in the inner city.
……..For imperial ice celebrations the ice was smoothed with glowing irons,
….in summer time the lake is used for boating,….and in the winter for skating,
……I love Beijing !!!!!

From the coloration I thought this was a grayscale pic of some dried up, salty old ex-river. Took me several minutes to realize that was snow, lol. Beautiful shot, and definitely much better for the PS work.

Very interesting shot I really like the tones of this piece, I find the subject to be to busy though. Maybe if the sky was calmer I would be able to focus more, but thats just me I suppose.
