.I was impressed by the enormous action of this majestic sculpture,
the bodies,... twisted in motion seem to accentuate the struggle of the fallen warrior,
the Artist transformed the stone into 'Eternal Flesh' !
.
tech-talk - I separated the image into two layers : sky & sculpture, added a bit of gaussian blurr to the sky to highlight the sculpture and gave a touch of lens flair to the sun, 'rear -curtain' flash mode was used.
thru some color manip made the sepia tones spicy.

Wow, this one is absolutly amazing, i love the colors you used in this photo i dont know if you do photo minipulation with photoshop or if its natural lighting, but its very beautiful i love statues alot and these ones show alot of intensity and emotion along with the colors it makes it even more breath taking and fantastic.....
All of your other stuff is wonderful too but this one is extreamly awesome.

there's a statue in the centre of Finland's capital Helsinki where three naked smiths are doing what smiths do.. It's a pretty impressive statue.

well to cutt off the foot was a bad idea. the color tone is quite boring. especially it doesn't work for the sky. the use of lens flare was just the worse idea you could have. the only good thing about the picture is the statue. fortunatelly you couldn't spoil that.

yes i love the colors... and i think that not showing the faces gives it the feeling of mystery... who are these warriors and why does the dominating one seem to be so much smaller? i am not educated on much sculpture so i dont know what this piece is... but i love the sky and the tones... and your digital touchup is great although i dont think it needs the lens flare...
