Wow, this is a very nice work. I like how u used the umbrella to serve as a filter for the sun. Shadows look great too...

Very clever piece visually, I love how you've played upon the sunlight making the umbrella the sun and her the goddess within it. I'm guessing it's no co-incidence that she is cleverly draped in powerful orange as robust and as fearless as the sun itself. I'm drawn to the battling symbolism of the sun versus the parasol as one is used normally to protect from the other yet in this piece they are one and the same and that which is usually used for shadow now becomes the vessel through which that it protects against radiates.
I love the earthy dirtiness of the water and how it breaks tumultuous where she stands as if even the water reacts and celebrates violently in her power as if she's visually breaking through the sludgy colour gifting it with the dance of light that ignites upon it. Forgive me if this is a little too graphic but it's almost as if the figure herself is the mother of light, furthering a goddess like imagery, as the light seems to push from within her, from her core, and spills out between her legs like a newborn, pure and dazzling ... renewing.
& yet the fact she herself remains shaded is suggestive that she isn't at one with the light but controlling it and immune to it's gift, empowering her through shadow, something which usually detracts from something.
I'm sorry if this makes little sense, my brain is mush.
