.I took this photograph last night at the Houston Rodeo fair grounds,
using a fisheye 11mm lens.
I placed the camera on a bench and x-perimented doing several shots altering the white balance of the camera,....I really like how this one came out !...

that is an AWSOME shot and a v.creative use of a fisheye! I still have to add a fish eye lens to my arsenal. Was thinking about a sigma 10-20mm but not sure if thats actually a fisheye.

I really, really love the vibrant colours in this one. No matter where I looked on your gallery page, it just kept jumping out at me, begging me to view it properly.
You've managed to capture the moment perfectly, with the colours just blurred slightly enough so you can still see all the fine details of the photo. The whole picture seems to be curving upwards in a circle, as if it's spinning with the ferris wheel. I love shows and carnival type things, especially when they're at night; the atmosphere is just so much more upbeat then. The blackness of the sky compared to the bright, flashy colours of the wheel make for excellent comparison when put together, and it really creates a magical feeling.
I honestly can't think of anything to criticise you on for this particular photo, except for that I don't like that red flag and lamp post. Not that you could do anything about those, so it's not your fault.
I feel four years old again!

Everytime I look at this picture, it reminds me of "The Five People You Meet in Heaven", and it gives me such a warm, homely feeling.
I love this picture. I do hope you make it into a print, because I would buy it!
