Haus of Alex Character Portrait: Nikolai

Nikolai was the first model Alex brought into the HoA agency. But as with all the HoA fellas, he didn't begin as a model.

Alex first met Nikolai at a BDSM club. She's not a practitioner of BDSM, but she was friends with the guy who ran the club and she wasn't one to say no to a chat and some free drinks. She was in the process of explaining her dreams of running her own modeling agency to her friend when he wound up having to excuse himself to deal with a bad dom and a client experiencing subdrop as a result. Alex came along to see if she could help. She did. Nikolai was the client, and she and him exchanged numbers. They quickly became friends, and he left his job in banking to become her model. When she had several more models in the agency, he changed to becoming a photographer, something Alex had gotten him interested in. He is now the head photographer and Alex's business partner. He never practiced BDSM again after that bad night, but he insists on always wearing some sort of choker or collar around his neck. They make him feel safe.

Nikolai is a reserved, quiet sort of guy. Very analytical, very serious. He doesn't connect well with most people, and only comes out of his shell around people he really trusts. He loves Anna, and they have a sort of married old couple kind of relationship. Of the models, Kenji is his favorite (he likes how quiet and polite he is) and Corbyn is his least favorite (he's just too mischevious for Nikolai's tastes).

Nikolai is the "dad" of the Haus. He's strict, and expects that everyone always try their best. He's not great at showing his feelings, and can come off as somewhat abrasive in his interactions with them. But he does truly care for all of the models, and is quick to defend them if anyone else says something mean about them.
