Drawn for who had the good fortune to be visitor #2005 to my page.
...and for anyone wondering why he appears to have Macross elements in his design - the Jetfire toy was a licenced use of the Valkyrie mould but copyright problems arose when they tried to use his appearance in the show, thus the 'Skyfire' character was created to represent him (follow this [link] for an interview with Floro Dery which mentions these events and also features the original toy-accurate animation model alongside the more familiar 'Skyfire' design).

Nice work; the first comic-style illustration of the real Jetfire that I've seen. Certainly better than the canon G1 cartoon version (IMHO at least).

I love my Classics Jetfire, but then again I am pretty bias given the fact he was one of my favorite characters when he was first introduced.
Come on, the guy picked up and threw Megatron away like he was a paper doll.
How many other characters can get away with that?

Windcharger used his magnetic powers to fling Megatron through the roof of the Ark and away into the distance once during the old UK comic run (although the effort completely shorted all his circuits).

This isn't the GI Joe, where the comic takes prescedent over everything else related to it, this is about big robots that throwing each other around in the tv.
I stick to my original statements vehemently until someone gives me another example.
