Description I've been doing a lot of flat colour lately, so I thought I'd shake things up with some soft shading.


Irene Adler, from the first Sherlock Holmes short story A Scandal in Bohemia. Based more on the '09 movie version, though.

no, in fact Irene Alder was only in one story in the book, and she was not a love interest at all.

I think this is quite perfect. I'm rather nervous as to what they are going to do with the modern series...but... *sighs lovingly* I trust Gattis and Moffat. I suppose.

I think we're rather an accepting, trusting fandom on the whole, if I'm honest!
I think It's because the pair are such obsessive Sherlock Holmes fans themselves - they know what we need!

She looks very cool, especially the pose and the set of her jaw. I think the rose could use larger petals and some spines, but all in all this is lovely
