Indeed she does - long before the events of SPCM, a sword duel with the villainous Princess Midori saw her right arm get sliced clean off. Unfortunately for the Princess, Jaws was ambidextrous, and simply kept on fighting with her left hand!
The eyepatch, on the other hand, is merely for the cool factor...
