English/InglésAlright, the Heavy Assault Arwing from Star Fox 2 is done. This one was piloted by Peppy and Slippy, while Fox and Falco piloted the traditional Arwing. This one was very slow and heavy, and had a slow laser-charging time, but had high shielding and was equipped with a Shield Repair unit, enabling it to recover damage. Well, for Star Fox Command, I would give it the following stats:
Laser: Plasma.
Lock: Single.
Shields: High.
Boost: 2 bars.
Bombs: 1.
Time Bonus: 2 seg.

It looks good! The only thing I noticed was that one side looks a little bit bigger than the other, but other than that I think it's great.
Star Fox 2 would have been a best seller if it had been released.

You can still buy starfox 2 on a website , or you can get an snes emulator for the computer or smart phone to get the game. It is lots of fun!

I've actually played it on the emulator. But while I have enjoyed it, it still had a couple of bugs that never got fixed (one of them being that the Arwing randomly transforms into a Heavy Assault one when you switch between land and aerial mode).

Looks a little ungainly, but could probably take a great deal of damage. I think you did a nice job on this one.

I know what you mean. IN Command, my favorite ship is actually the Wolfen 2, although the Cloud Runner, Peppy's/James' Arwing, or the twin-laser upgraded Arwing 2 are close contenders as well. Besides which, spinning the fighter allows you to deflect most incoming fire rather than absorb it, making shields less important.

This was a tough one, the only ref's I had were a very small side-view shot, and the "polygonal" in-game model. I tried to more or less use the official art of the Star Fox Command fighters to adapt it. Thanks.
