And, another Pokémon related pic. This was something I had planned for quite a while, after I wrote that little tie-in for the Pokémon fanfic called "Pokémon Reset Bloodlines", definitely one of the best Pokémon stories I've read. This is more or less what Ash looks like when he starts his journey in the new reality of the story: he's described as being 15 years old, taller than his mother, and with his skin tanner than it was in the original timeline. The story also states that he wears his outfit from the original series, albeit (of course) sized to fit his older body. With the upcoming 20th Anniversary Pokémon movie, I decided to change the logo of his cap for the one shown in the trailer, and I also gave him another detail from the story: the glove he's wearing on his left hand, is supposed to be a prototype invented by Professor Oak for better and more efficient Pokémon rotation: it has a dent on the palm that enables Ash to teleport Pokéballs to Oak's lab from anywhere (as long as he's in range, I'm assuming that the limit must be within the Kanto region) and anytime (as long as Oak or his aides are available to respond). It's called a Handheld Omnipowered Pokémon Expediter glove (H.O.P.E. for short). Acronym jokes aside, you guys tell me if you wouldn't love to have one of those for yourselves?

Y, tenemos otro dibujo relacionado con Pokémon. Esto es algo que tenía planeado desde hace algún tiempo, después de escribir aquel pequeño oneshot para el fanfic "Pokémon Reset Bloodlines", definitivamente una de las mejores historias de Pokémon que he leído. Este es más o menos el aspecto que tiene Ash cuando inicia su viaje en la nueva realidad de la historia: lo describen de 15 años de edad, más alto que su madre, y con la piel más tostada que en la línea temporal original. La historia también dice que lleva su traje de la serie original, aunque claro, adaptado para que le quede a su cuerpo mayor. Con la película que viene este año por el 20 aniversario de Pokémon, decidí cambiarle el logo de la gorra por el que aparece en el trailer, y le puse otro detallito de la historia: el guante que lleva en su mano izquiera, se supone que es un prototipo inventado por el Profesor Oak para agilizar la rotación de Pokémon: en la palma tiene una ranura donde al poner una Pokébola le permite transportarla al laboratorio de Oak desde donde se encuentre (mientras esté en rango, imagino que el límite ha de ser dentro de la región de Kanto) y cuando quiera (mientras Oak o sus asistentes estén disponibles para responder). Se llama guante "Portátil de Acceso Omnipolar a los Pokémon" (o H.O.P.E. para su acrónimo en inglés, acepto sugerencias para alguno que suene mejor). Dejando las bromas de lado, díganme si no les encantaría tener uno de esos.
