Homestuckers gave OFF life, then took it away just as quickly.

Yup, I do remember that. It was the Homestucks who brought it life from that really long "Hiatus", but then new fandoms started to come out of nowhere (along with OFF being one of them), and I think after people had beaten the game, they just started to move on really fast ^^'

More like the hiatus ended and the fans almost immediately flocked back and shoved OFF in a dark, dusty closet. ¬_¬
Seriously, many of the fans (including myself) were playing and replaying the game over and over again while making more and more arts and theories and *eaugh* pairings...and then once the Homestuck update happened, the activity quickly dwindled away to practically nothing.
I even had an ask account made for Enoch at one point, but I was kinda forced to kill it once the fandom migrated...

Aw, that stinks :/ Well atleast OFF still has some fan-goers left and it's not completely diminished. As long as people still know it exists and makes art from time to time, surely it will still be ok ^u^

I sure hope so. Mortis Ghost himself was pretty active on dA during the high time of OFF, but nowadays he's nowhere to be seen. I liked being able to talk to him and ask him questions...
