Something from December 2015, when I had some fun remodeling this 90's sci-fi beauty. I'm not a professional modeler, but I took care to enjoy crafting every small aspect of this space fighter in 3ds Max.

Some modernizations were inspired from 2007's TLT movie. And a lot of personal touches, including a functioning entry hatch and fully detailed cockpit.

Texturing was done using Substance Painter - an amazing tool, allowing even amateurs like me to create a beautiful PBR surface.

Finally, the mesh was exported into Unreal Engine 4, where I implemented Starfury's newtonian flight model and had fun blasting everything to bits. My main profession is Software Engineer after all

I never got around to sharing this with anyone, because it was only for my private enjoyment, but with recent rumors about B5 remake, I felt inspired to at least share this with whomever.
