Description
Been practicing drawing Pokémon recently and one thing led to another. Ghost types are some of my favourite so I thought why not make a trainer themed around them!

This is Kovu Crow, one of many rivals you may encounter. They specialise in ghost type Pokémon and have befriended many ghosts on their journey with their partner Pokémon Mimikyu. He aims to become a champion with the help of his ghost type friends and prove to everyone that ghosts aren’t always scary. Although his Pokémon can go into their Pokéballs, Kovu lets them all walk alongside him unless it would put them in danger.

They may appear to wear some odd attire, but this is because much like their ghostly friends Kovu likes to hide away in shadows and surprise people, he also has some really bad fashion sense! Their team consists of Mimikyu, Rotom, Hisuian Zorua, and very occasionally a little Marshadow that they befriended as a child but has not caught. They believe that their bond with Marshadow is stronger than any Pokéball and it would be disrespectful to their friendship to try to catch Marshadow without its agreement, so instead they simply take their journey and allow it to follow as it likes, glad to have his long time friend with him during the journey.

When not actively progressing their journey Kovu can often be found napping in trees with his Pokémon, or exploring a cave to feed the Zubat. Kovu also always makes time to visit any cemetery’s he may pass on his journey and pay respects to the spirits there, as well as relive some nostalgia of his childhood.
