Many have asked me if this is Ophelia drowning. While the imagery is very much the same, this is actually more of a serene, dreamy concept. One of simply floating in the wonder of life itself, and letting the beauty carry you.

This picture sure is peaceful and beatuful but (this might sound naiive) if this is joyful, then why isn't she smiling? Surely that's why people keep insisting that she has drowned.

Heheh, who knows. I think because it's such a classic, commonly done scene in regards to Ophelia, that it's automatically assumed. I reworded what I put in the description to say "serene" instead of joyful...which now fits a bit better. But either way, sometimes bliss is more about what you feel within the heart, than what shows up on your face.
