Nope my day job is actually a game programmer. I do drawing as a hobby. Although at some day I do want to make a indie game myself. So basically I want to train my art skills for that.

Maybe you having an art block. Sometimes I got those also. That got bored of my own stuff or just feel like repeating myself. Usually it goes away after a couple months. Or if try some different drawing process or style. I usually try not to worry it too much if I got art block. Cos it's kinda expected to get those once in a while. I guess patreon kinda good in that way that it force me to draw even when in art block.

twitter and tumblr are so... disorganized in my opinion >< and so much competition over who gets to be seen first yknow
It's a lot of work and time required to have online presence, best for people who can do it full time and real challenging for those of us who already have day jobs to worry about

Yeah I been kinda wondering about tumblr and twitter. Would need to upload so often to be seen in todays swipe culture. Where people swipe past artworks in milliseconds. Need to have a workflow that is very fast to create artworks to have more better chance to get noticed in those platforms. I have a bit trouble to produce enough content, cos it take me too long to finish one artwork. Need to find a way to simplify my process.

I've been thinking about simplifying my style too, somehow cutting down drawing time but still make it look good ><
but ahh, this is why i didnt pursue patreon, because im too moody and not disciplined enough to keep working unless i make sure money out of it

Yeah I want to find good balance with time and quality also. So don't take too long to make, but still look decent.
Yeah I guess need to have a bit discipline if have a patreon account. Cos then have deadline to produce the monthly content. But well of course can adjust the rewards also to something that is not too overburdening to create. Easiest I guess is to give something that produce anyway. Like high resolution, steps and lineart.

im honestly not certain about spending too much time on my art these days. since im also thinking about taking on other careers that will get me sure money. Got a lot of responsibilities and things to prepare for DX although often i find myself wanting to escape to art and books

Yeah seems need to have lots of followers, if want make any decent living out of it. Or make some niche art that not so many do. I still manage to have some energy left after work since my day job not that tireding. Mostly just bad for back to sit whole day in office and then after that sitting in home drawing. XD

oh shoot, i had the same problem too and then i had myself checked and discovered i have scoliosis. I opened commissions here on dA just to save up payment for the treatment. thankfully now my back doesnt hurt as much

Yeah for me having a deadline adds a bit pressure. Especially if in sketch stage don't manage to get any sketch that satisfied with.
Ah that sucks to have scoliosis. I don't know much about scoliosis, but seems bad. Good if it's already getting better.
My issue not that bad yet fortunately. Or I hope at least that it's nothing too serious. I sometimes having pinching feeling in my hands if draw or use computer for long time. Seems it's actually because of my shoulders and neck. Probably some pinched nerve. But it's usually fine if remember to take breaks.

Hmmm carpal tunnel is very common among digital artists. Best to avoid bad positions to avoid that from happening

Yeah I was first wondering if I have something like carpal tunnel, but then went to physical therapist to check it. She said my stiff neck most like cause the pinching in my hand.
I was thinking to try do some pilates also. Let's see how that goes.

Oh no, stiff necks are terrible! I think I have stiff neck too, been having this pain around the area between my neck and shoulder and it hasnt disappeared. I hate how I dont get enough exercise.

Nice design, but as a recommendation, if you are going to draw big boobs in a tight suit, remember that the fabric of the suit does not adhere to the skin where the two breasts come together, rather the fabric is stretched by the front of the breasts.
