Nice! Wonderfully dynamic, and the colors make me think of heat or desert, something like that.

Ooh, I love the colour scheme, and the way your style matches with it. Fantastic
Also, is this fan art of something?

Just got Prince of Persia. Pretty decent so far. The character designs are awesome

Warrior Within is still the best of the series though.

Haven't played the game so I'll take it at pure artistic value. Good stuff.

Art wise this game really is breathtaking... In terms of gameplay though I prefer the original trilogy. Still consider Warrior Within my favourite game of all time.
Aaaaaand I'll just keep telling myself that "The Forgotten Sands" never existed...

To be fair, Forgotten sands still had some potential, the platforming was good and the water freezing mechanic was fun to play with. It was just rushed and unpolished as fuck, because it was essentially a movie tie-in, if they weren't forced by the corporate bullshit to rush this game, it could've been so great :/

Ye, I guess I was a bit harsh with that comment... What ruined it for me was the fighting mechanics. It somehow didn't feel right for the prince to be fighting hordes of enemies. Feels better when you just fight 1 or2, maybe 3 enemies at a time like with the other princes... I should replay it at some point though.

The platforming sections are just about the only thing that is trully worthwhile about this game and even that was kinda unpolished. And you're right, the combat got royally fucked, the only thing that was worse was the story.
Yeah, I get you, tho I think it was more than just 2 or 3 enemies at a time, especially in Sands of Time. Something that I always felt was missing from the other games was the execute mechanic from Sands of Time. You know, when you knocked down your enemies you had to stab em with your dagger to absorb them so they wouldn't get up again. It gave a combat of that game it's own distinct identity, as well as reinforced the idea that you're fighting something more than mere mortals. Also you needed to manipulate combat so that you could go for the finisher safely, since other enemies could attack you during the animation (especially those hammer bastards always seemed to). I think I may be the only mad-man in the world who prefers Sands of Time combat to those of the latter 2 games. I admit Warrior Within added a lot to vary it up, but I would like it even better if it didn't do away with that finisher mechanic.

Ye, I loved that mechanic in sands of time. But I think if it were in Warrior Withing it would have taken away from the flow of the game... I just think it wouldn't have really fit in with that games style. It would have probably worked well in The Two Thrones though.

I liked that game too, it's a real shame it didn't launch a series. Instead we got a rushed movie tie in and after that nothing.

I would like to point out that the Prince I drew is not related in any way to other games in the series. Even game developers said that, his story is completely unrelated to the Sands of Time and whatsoever

Yeah, I know it was a reboot, chill. I'm just saying, there was a real potential in continuing the franchise with this, but it just didn't happen. Ofc franchise =/= series
