I watched MatPat Play this on Gt Live and You really have captured the spirit and overall feel of the game in this single image. The Tim Burton Style in which you draw your works adds a layer of creep and feels to the image.
The Red and black side with the antagonists gives a sense of unease, and the light side with Itwad balances it out with the feeling of safety.
You have captured the style and appearance of the characters while maintaining your own style. This has got to be one of your best works. Keep up the good work.

ok so, i was gonna write a normal comment, but when i realised i was structuring it like a critique, i thought why not.
vision: the way you've drawn the shadow behind fran, along with the bright, almost warm light behind itward is a very cool way to use light, as well as the red shades of all the characters behind fran. it really shows how unstable fran's mind is, as well as showing how controlling that ram head guy is of her, (forgot his name completely, :T) considering how the shadow behind fran makes up his body. and, this may not be intentional, but the red glow of the eyes also gives an uneasy feel as if they're staring into fran's soul.
rating: 4.5 stars.
originality: i've seen pictures of fran and itward in the same sort of stance, but nothing like this. it's really beautiful, and your burtonesque style makes it look even better!

technique: the techniques used, light symbolism, maternal crouching to lessen fear, the usage of blood, is slightly overused, but it works wonderfully in this picture! it shows itward as a very loving and helpful creature, despite his disturbing appearance.

impact: i LOVE fran bow, and this picture really gives you a feel for what the game is all about! it's cute, creepy and beautiful, all rolled into one! you portrayed both itward and fran's characters perfectly; itward being a gentle but protective father figure for the poor mentally ill child, and fran being an inquisitive, slightly unphased girl who can trust her skellydad, as well at mr midnight being there, sort of in front of fran, to further show off his protective instinct.

overall, it's a stunning piece of art that i would probably buy if it was some sort of official lisenced poster. what can i say, i'm a sucker for surrealist art like this. it's brilliant!

I remember when I played this game I didn't trust Itward for most of it and then I felt bad, but I mean, he did lock Fran in the back of his ship and take Mr. Midnight so I kinda jumped to conclusions.

No worries there, honestly, since he does come off as a pretty untrustworthy guy. I just couldn't help trusting him because he tripped over the bushes while trying to impress Fran, and I couldn't imagine he'd be too evil after that. x)
