Because of some dumbass comments from people who seem to take things waaaaaaaaay too literally... THIS STAMP DOES NOT ADVOCATE TORTURE AND ABUSE AND IF YOU THINK THAT IS WHAT IT IS ABOUT THEN YOU ARE IN NEED OF SERIOUS HELP!
This stamp was born from Roleplaying where messing with and tormenting our muses show how much we care about them! Or that is what we, as writers, like to say for all the drama and angst we put our beloved characters through. THAT DOES NOT MEAN I AM SAYING YAY BEAT PEOPLE UP AND ABUSE THEM! That is a RIDICULOUS notion and you should be ASHAMED of yourself for even thinking it! I'm damn well ashamed of you for thinking it! Now gtfo my page and leave my stamp alone!

In stories you need conflict, you need to torment your main character, even if you love and adore them. While in art, well, it should be obvious how torment can be used in art. People need to stop jumping to conclusions and think.

The stamp isn't supporting that kind of torment.
It's suppose to be towards characters and playful torment.
But I can see where the lines can be messed up pretty badly.

I know this comment is kind of old, but the stamp isn't glorifying abuse. It's talking about putting characters through tough experiences so they can grow because we authors develop the characters closest to our hearts the most. Which often means putting them through some torment (but not necessarily fire ants. I'm sorry to hear about your experience :/ )

i totally don't know what it's like after all the times my mom's physically abused me and told me to kill myself and locked me out of the house in the middle of the night because she really must care for me and want me to have a good life!!
a lot of these jokes bother me, a lot, that doesn't mean i'm gonna waste my time looking through them just to get upset.
it's a dumb stamp made years back and the creator isn't even around anymore, so there wasn't a point to get so upset over it that you had to comment.
all the stamps you've commented on from what i've seen have been from years back and the uploaders have either moved accounts or completely left da.
