Ahhhh, fall is here! Brisk air, pretty leaves, pumpkin pies and candy corn. What a lovely season, isn't it? This is a new record for a comic for me. Sure, there isn't any original vector work (a lot of recoloring, though), but still, I got this done in a little over four hours! I hope this is clear enough that it is an extension on the Fluttershy being tree joke.If not, well, this is an extension of the Fluttershy being a tree joke.
I would like to be a tree!

I want to point out first that I really like the emulation of emotion in every panel. I can tell from each panel the feelings of each character without the text. I also liked some of the affects in the 3rd and 4th panel that give the scene more feeling and a sense of depth, like I could see the entire scene unfold like an actual scene in the show.
However; the last panel came out a bit awkwardly, like you tried to jam too many things into it to quickly get it done. The last panel could of been split into two to solve this.
On another note: I think the characterization was done for Fluttershy quite well. I have read several fan-fictions and read hundreds of comics depicting Flutters as being afraid of people and overly awkward around her friends, when really she's just awkward around strangers and soft spoken in general. Though your's isn't the best example, I feel making a good Fluttershy is more in what you don't make her do than what she does.
Finally: I didn't get the whole tree joke until I read the description, but that probably was just me missing the obvious.
But seriously: I feel I should have lowered the impact score to even less because of the bad taste I was left with. But my surprise that her hair fell out did save it.
This critique was meant to compare yours to true excellence, which it deserves to be, so don't take the low-ish scores too seriously.

Well first off, thank you for taking the time to type this up, and I wasn't offended by your scores at all, in fact, the opposite is true. To expect all five star ratings is something that simply shouldn't be done. So being that your "low" scores were four star ratings I am definitely not upset.
I too feel that the last panel is a bit crowded; I tried it without the leaves and it felt too empty, though. It seemed to convey her mane and tail just kind of ... taking off by themselves. Being that we all (well, most) know the conditions and appearance of fall-time leaves drifting though the air, they seemed to be required. I'm not quite sure how I could've split the panel up, but again I do agree that it just seems too busy.

Try having the first panel focus in on Rarity with the first part of why fluttershy needed the wig and tail. The second panel can be the big reveal where we can see bald Fluttershy and Rarity's shocked expression.
